Describe the wash effect precisely

Acid-wash styling is commonly associated with a mottled or contrasted faded appearance. For a useful enquiry, identify the base shade, highlight shade, overall contrast and the parts of the garment where the effect matters most.

Send front and back reference images, then mark the details you want to reproduce in development. Separate an overall washed appearance from printed distressing or graphic artwork. The proposed treatment must be reviewed against the actual material and construction.

Choose the garment before choosing the effect

Specify fabric composition, construction and GSM, together with chest width, length, shoulder shape and sleeve measurements. For oversized streetwear, give the proportions you need instead of relying only on an oversized size label.

Provide artwork files, dimensions and placements. If a graphic should look worn-in, describe that separately from the base wash effect. Printing, embroidery and labels need to be reviewed with the proposed finish; the development plan should establish which details are approved together.
